DUE TO THE GOVERNOR’S UPDATED MANDATE, WE ARE REQUIRING MASKS FOR ALL PEOPLE WORSHIPING.
DRIVE-THRU COMMUNION AT FLC ONLY: Sunday, FEBRUARY 7, at First Lutheran, we will have drive-thru communion starting at 8:45 am. There will not be a worship service at FLC on this day. Please listen to the sermon on the radio at KCCI – 96.7 fm at 10:30 am.

On behalf of the Lucas County Salvation Army Unit, I want to express our sincere and heartfelt “THANKS” for adopting time to “Ring the Bell” this past month. Without the 300 volunteers from local businesses and organizations this campaign could not succeed. Donations this year hve been record setting: and amazing $30,000!Truly a blessing as expectation is for the need to be greater with the continuing pandemic effects. “YOUR” participation and generosity allow us to continue to “Do the Most Good” for the upcoming year.

LUTHERAN LAKESIDE CAMP WANTS YOU!!
It’s that time of year again! Early Registration is ready for you. First Lutheran has agreed to send our youth to camp the week of July 25-30, 2021. We budgeted for this cost. This would also be a good week to have our men and women go to camp and volunteer. There are always jobs available.
Cost for the week, grades 3-8 is $465
Register by February 28, 2021 to get early bird discount of $50.00 =$415.00
Parent Deposit $100.00 per youth= $315.00
First Lutheran will pay $315.00 per youth.
Your total cost is $100.00!!

THE COLLECTING OF STAMPS WILL CONTINUE!! To help you participate, we provide the following information: not only canceled stamps but unused ones as well. Cut the stamps from the envelope leaving 1/4 inch around the stamps. Please drop them into the container on the desk in the Fireside Room at First Lutheran.
FEBRUARY IS PASTA MONTH for the Ministry Center. Examples would be pasta, processed cheese, boxed macaroni & cheese, sauces, boxed pasta salads, etc. Thank you!
