Led by the Holy Spirit, the mission of First Lutheran Church in Chariton is to be bold in our faith as children of God and share the good news of salvation with all people. The mission of Christ the Servant Lutheran Ministry in Corydon is to share the joy of Christ and serve others.
Our Faith
Faith is an essential part of all that we do at First Lutheran Church and Christ the Servant Lutheran Ministry. Led by the Holy Spirit, we gather in the presence of our Lord.
Our Church
First Lutheran Church and Christ the Servant Lutheran Ministry are communities of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), a church body of nearly 5 million members. We are part of the Southeastern Iowa Synod which is one of 65 synods in the ELCA.
