PLANS ARE IN PLACE TO RE-OPEN FOR WORSHIP!!
AT CHRIST THE SERVANT:
They will begin having worship in the sanctuary on Sunday, May 31, at their regular worship time of 11 am and will continue weekly. Sunday, May 31, is the Day of Pentecost and you are invited to bring red geraniums to worship and wear red!
AT FIRST LUTHERAN:
** Sunday, May 31: Drive-thru-Communion will be offered from 8:45-10 am.
** Sunday, June 14: Outdoor Worship is being planned on the west side of First Lutheran on the large cement pad to begin at 9 am. Please bring your lawn chairs. There will not be a brunch and coffee will not be served.
** Sunday, June 21: Begin worshiping in the sanctuary weekly at 9 am.
THE CHURCH OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAY, MAY 25, FOR THE MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY.

SPECIAL CONGREGATION MEETING
SUNDAY, JUNE 7, FOLLOWING WORSHIP
To discuss and vote on repairing the north wall, replacing the fellowship hall windows, and putting a metal roof on the church.
CONCRETE PROJECT TO BEGIN AT FIRST LUTHERAN
First Lutheran is delaying the beginning of worship because the cement work will begin in the church parking lot on June 1. Once the cement is poured and finished, it cannot be driven on for at least a week.
THE OLD CONCRETE BUMPERS IN THE PARKING LOT ARE FREE TO THE MEMBERS!! You can take as many as you want – first come, first served. They need to be gone by June 1!!
REMEMBER: Every Sunday, at 10:30 am, you can listen to the weekly sermon and prayers from First Lutheran Church and Christ the Servant Lutheran Church on KIIC Radio – 96.7 FM out of Albia, IA. This broadcast will be an ongoing ministry of the two congregations every Sunday at 10:30 am.

THE BREAKFAST GALS BASEMENT SALE HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FALL. They will continue to take donations for the sale through the summer, so feel free to keep bringing your donations to the First Lutheran Church basement.
IT IS TIME TO BEGIN MOWING THE CHURCH LAWN!!
If you would like to volunteer to mow the church lawn at First Lutheran please call Wendy and she will put you on the schedule (641-774-4875). This ministry would involve mowing and trimming the area immediately surrounding the church building (inside the circle driveway) and sweeping off the sidewalks.
