WOMEN OF THE ELCA will set up for Cluster Gathering at 1 pm on Friday, October 3.
WOMEN OF THE ELCA CLUSTER 9 FALL GATHERING will be held at First Lutheran on Saturday, October 4 at 9 am.
SEPTEMBER IS YOUTH MONTH!
Join us as we celebrate Youth Month this September. At First Lutheran our youth will be leading and assisting in worship services throughout the month.
Fellowship Time—Join us for fellowship and refreshments after worship. September 28 will be the last Sunday to enjoy donuts from Piper’s.
Support Our Youth—Free-will donations collected during fellowship will go toward supporting our youth programs. Thank you for your generosity! Let’s come together this September to celebrate and encourage our young leaders in faith.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY
The Fireside room at First Lutheran Church is the location for Adult Bible Study at 10 am on Wednesdays. The study will be on the Bonhoeffer movie. Everyone is welcome to attend for the study and fellowship. The coffee pot will be on!
WOMEN OF THE ELCA CLUSTER 9 FALL GATHERING
The First Lutheran Women of the ELCA will be hosting the Fall Gathering on Saturday, October 4. Registration begins at 8:30 am with the program at 9 am. Larry and Terri Lamb, Counting Sheep Project, will be the featured speakers. All women are invited. For more information, contact Barb Vogel.
REMEMBERING ALL GOD’S SAINTS
On Sunday, November 2, we will remember all God’s saints. In the prayers that day, we will remember all those who have died since All Saints Sunday 2024. If you have a family member or close friend that you would like to include in this remembrance, please notify Susan in the church office via a note, email, or call before October 28.
NOISY OFFERINGS!!
Please consider bringing your loose change to church on Sundays and “noisily” depositing it in the pot! Offerings July through November at First Lutheran will go to needy families. Offerings September through November at Christ the Servant will go to Empty Stocking project.
OCTOBER IS PERSONAL HYGIENE MONTH at the Ministries Center. Examples would be bath and hand soap, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, band-aids, and hand lotion. Please consider helping with this ministry!
The Ministry Center also needs volunteers!
