MIDWEEK LENTEN SERVICES at First Lutheran on Wednesday, April 2 with supper at 5:30 pm and worship service at 6:30 pm.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY!
Adult bible study will NOT be meeting during Lent. It will resume on Wednesday, April 30 at 10 am.
MIDWEEK LENTEN SERVICES
First Lutheran services will begin with soup and sandwich supper provided at 5:30 pm and worship at 6:30 pm. Dates are April 2 and 9. Thank you to those who have signed up to host!
Midweek Lenten offering will be given to Lutheran Lakeside Camp Ministries–Vacation Bible School here at First Lutheran (June 16-19), Summer Camperships, special project request from Lakeside, and a gift to Lutheran Lakeside Camp.
OUTSIDE CLEANUP DAY AT FIRST LUTHERAN will be on Sunday, April 6. Wear your casual clothes to church and stay after to help! Please bring rakes, gloves, buckets, trimmers, leaf blower, shovels, or anything else you think might be needed to work outside. Many hands will make the work go fast.
EASTER LILY SIGN-UP AT CHARITON If you plan to donate a lily for Easter Sunday at First Lutheran, you may designate it as a memorial or in honor of someone. A sign-up sheet is on the table in the narthex. The list of names will be printed in the Easter bulletin. Please sign up by Monday, April 14.
EASTER BREAKFAST SIGN UP AT FIRST LUTHERAN on the table in the Narthex. There are TWO sign-up sheets—one for those willing to help with breakfast and another for those planning on attending. Please sign up so enough food is prepared!
LUTHERAN LAKESIDE CAMP
Any youth who would like to attend a camp at Lutheran Lakeside? The Church Council will pay 100% of your camp stay! There are many different types of camps available throughout the summer. Pick up a 2025 camp schedule flyer from the holder under the windows in the Narthex. Let Susan in the office know and she will help you get registered!
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School meets during the worship service at First Lutheran. Sunday school will be held in the basement in the first classroom on the right.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR for June 16-19, 2025. Plans are underway to have a traveling day camp, Be a Spark, for K-5th grade students! Watch for more details in the coming months.
NOISY OFFERINGS!!
Please consider bringing your loose change to church on Sundays and “noisily” depositing it in the pot! Offerings April through July at First Lutheran will go to Lutheran Lakeside Camp equipment. Offerings December through August at Christ the Servant will go to Wayne School needs.
APRIL IS SNACK MONTH for the Ministry Center. Examples would be cake mixes, frostings, fruit snacks, Jell-O, popcorn, pudding, cookies, etc. Thank you! Please consider helping with this ministry!
