WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8 – MIDWEEK LENTEN ACTIVITIES
- “THE STORY” DISCUSSION GROUP at 10 am.
- WORSHIP AT CORYDON UMC at noon.
- SUPPER AT FIRST LUTHERAN at 6 pm. Pick up Thelma’s chicken supper and bring it to church to eat! Drinks will be provided.
- WORSHIP AT FIRST LUTHERAN at 7 pm. Our mid-week offering this year will go to the Interchurch Council Ministry Center and ELCA Hunger Appeal.
THE WOMEN OF THE ELCA will gather on Thursday, March 9, at 1:00 pm at First Lutheran.

On Wednesday, March 8, you are encourage to support PEO by purchasing your meal at Thelma’s and bringing it to the church to eat! There will be drinks and silverware provided.
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS ON SUNDAY, MARCH 12. Please remember to move your clock ahead one hour on Saturday evening, March 11.
EASTER LILY SIGN-UP AT CHARITON If you plan to donate a lily for Easter Sunday at First Lutheran, you may designate it as a memorial or in honor of someone. A sign-up sheet is on the table in the narthex. The list of names will be printed in the Easter bulletin.
PLEASE SIGN UP TO TEACH SUNDAY SCHOOL at FLC. The sign-up board is in the Narthex. Sunday School is during the worship service. Lessons cover “The Story” for that week. See Gayle Bortz or Luann Mosbach with questions.
MARCH IS KITCHEN SINK MONTH for the Ministry Center. Examples would be dish soap, comet, scouring pads, Lysol, wipes, toilet bowl cleaner, etc. Thank you! The Ministry Center is currently in need of toilet paper. You can also start saving 1/2 gallon milk jugs again. Please consider helping with this ministry!
