CHARITON COMMUNITY WORSHIP SERVICE ON SUNDAY, JUNE 30. First Lutheran will participate in the Community Worship Service at the Gazebo on the Chariton Square. The service will begin at 9 am. Please bring your lawn chairs!! This service is sponsored by the Lucas County Interchurch Council. There WILL NOT be a worship service at First Lutheran on June 30—we encourage you to attend the worship service on the Chariton square. Please give any offering you would have given on June 30 either on June 23 or July 7. CHRIST THE SERVANT WILL WORSHIP AT THEIR REGULAR WORSHIP TIME OF 11 AM ON JUNE 30. FIRST LUTHERAN WILL HAVE OUTDOOR WORSHIP ON JULY 21 AND AUGUST 18. Worship service will be at 9 am on the west side of the church on the cement pad. Bring your lawn chairs. On July 21, there will be a fellowship with coffee cake after the service. SIGN UP TO BRING COFFEE CAKE OR BUNDT CAKE for the Outdoor Worship on July 21. The signup sheet is on the table in the Narthex. We need six volunteers!! FIRST LUTHERAN SUMMER FELLOWSHIP of donuts will be ongoing all summer after worship in the Fireside room with the exception of the outdoor worship Sundays. Please join in this fellowship opportunity! JUNE IS BREAKFAST MONTH at the Ministries Center. Examples would be pancake & waffle mix, syrup, biscuit mix, muffin mix, coffee, tea, and juice boxes. Thank you! Please consider helping with this ministry! CLUSTER 9 WELCA IS PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS to assist female students. Female members of First Lutheran enrolled in a post-secondary institution can apply. Deadline is August 15, 2024. Applications can be picked up in the church office. NOISY OFFERINGS ARE CONTINUING! “Noisy Offerings” are taken on Sundays. Please consider bringing your loose change to church and “noisily” depositing it in the pot!! CTS offerings through July will go to Wayne FFA. FLC offerings through July will go to Disaster Relief. THERE ARE ONLY 7 SUNDAYS LEFT TO SPONSOR IN 2024! If you would like to sponsor a broadcast for 2024, please call the church office.
