| CTS TASKFORCE will meet on Sunday, December 17 at noon. THE CTS WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY AT CTS will meet on Tuesday, December 19, at Christ the Servant beginning at 11:30 am. MIDWEEK ADVENT SERVICE on Wednesday, December 20 at 6:30 pm at First Lutheran. THE LAST MIDWEEK ADVENT WORSHIP will be on Wednesday, December 20 at 6:30 pm at First Lutheran. Supper and the service will be held in the Fireside Room. THE SOCIAL CONCERNS COMMITTEE is participating in the hats and mittens program for HeadStart again this year. The teachers will be using a Thrivent gift card to purchase what they need for each of their students. If you are interested in donating, please make your checks payable to SCICAP. On the memo line, write Chariton HeadStart. You can also donate hats, mittens, or socks. Checks or donations can be given to LuAnn Mosbach, Jean Heston, or Allison Kuball by Wednesday, December 20. Thank you! CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS. Please consider providing a poinsettia plant for the season of Christmas. In Chariton, please have them at the church by Christmas Eve morning. In Corydon, please bring them with you on Christmas Eve. CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES will be held on Sunday, December 24 at First Lutheran Church at 5 pm and Christ the Servant at 6:30 pm. There will also be the radio broadcast at 6:30 pm. SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING OPPORTUNITY! First Lutheran rang bells on Saturday, December 2. If you would still like to ring the bells, please contact Patti Bisgard. She has many more opportunities available for you!! “NOISY OFFERINGS” WILL CONTINUE to be taken on Sundays. Please consider bringing your loose change to church and “noisily” depositing it in the pot!! DECEMBER IS DENTAL HEALTH MONTH at the Ministries Center.Examples would be toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, dental floss, etc. Please consider helping with this ministry!
