| COUNTER TRAINING AT FLC WILL BE HELD August 20 after worship service. If you are currently a counter or would like to become one and did not attend on August 6, please plan to attend. We will be meeting in the library. The process has changed effective September 1. If unable to attend but still interested in counting, please let Susan in the office know. |
| ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 20, First Lutheran will hold the last outdoor worship for the year. The service will begin at 9 a.m. Plan to stay for fellowship and French toast breakfast prepared by the Worship & Music Committee following the service. Please bring your lawn chairs! CHRIST THE SERVANT will be participating in the church service on the courthouse lawn in Corydon on August 20 at 10 am. There will not be a service at CTS that day. |
| SCHOOL BEGINS IN CHARITON ON AUGUST 23 AND IN CORYDON ON AUGUST 28. There will be a blessing of backpacks and teachers at both FLC and CTS on Sunday, August 27. All students and teachers are encouraged to attend for this special blessing for the 2023-24 school year. |
| “NOISY OFFERINGS” WILL CONTINUE to be taken on Sundays. Each congregation’s donations will be collected for a local family in need through November. Please consider bringing your loose change to church and “noisily” depositing it in the pot!! |
| AUGUST IS A MEAL IN A BOX MONTH at the Ministries Center. Examples would be Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper, and Complete Meals. Thank you! |
