| PRAYER SHAWL/BABY AFGHAN GROUP will gather in the FLC Library, beginning at 1:30 pm, on Wednesday, May 1. ON SUNDAY, MAY 12, FIRST LUTHERAN WILL RECOGNIZE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES, MADISON BUCKALEW AND CARSON OXENREIDER during the 9 am worship service. Madison and Carson will be graduating from Chariton High School on May 19. Please join us on that day in recognizing these graduates! DAY OF PENTECOST WILL BE ON SUNDAY, MAY 19. You are invited to bring red geraniums and to wear red on this fiftieth day of Easter as we celebrate the sending of the Holy Spirit. NOISY OFFERINGS ARE CONTINUING! “Noisy Offerings” are taken on Sundays. Please consider bringing your loose change to church and “noisily” depositing it in the pot!! CTS offerings through July will go to Wayne FFA. FLC offerings through July will go to Disaster Relief.The First Lutheran Church Evangelism Committee would like to invite Mothers, Daughters, Granddaughters and Great-granddaughters to a ladies luncheon to be held at Carpenter’s Hall in Chariton on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 12:30 pm. Dr. Rachelle K. Keck, President of Grand View University will be our guest speaker. There will also be musical entertainment as part of our program. Please invite the female members of your family to accompany you to this luncheon. If you are the only female member of your family, please feel free to bring a guest.
