FLC WILL BE PRACTICING FOR THE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM during Sunday School on November 13, 20, and December 4.  There will be NO PRACTICE on November 27.  Practice will include reading the lines and becoming familiar with the story.  Please attend so I know who I have!  Thanks, Gayle

CONFIRMATION CLASS WILL BE HELD AT FLC on Wednesday, November 16, at 2 pm.

THANKOFFERING ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 20. Thankoffering will be collected on Sunday, November 20 at FLC during the worship service.  Thankofferings are a long-standing custom among Lutheran women.  This is a way to show thanks for blessings received.  This thankoffering is hosted by our congregational unit of Women of the ELCA. All are welcome to give.

LUTHERAN ADULT FELLOWSHIP will meet on Sunday, November 20, at 5 pm with Roger and Kary Blunk as hosts.  Please bring a food item to share.
 
CHARITON COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING SERVICE will be held on Monday, November 21 at the Christian Church from 6-7:30 pm.
 
MIDWEEK ADVENT WORSHIP SERVICE AT FLC begins on Wednesday, November 30 at 7 pm.  No suppers prior to advent midweek services.

PASTOR ERIKA UTHE, ASSISTANT TO THE BISHOP, will be joining us on Sunday, October 30 to preach at First Lutheran and Christ the Servant Lutheran.  First Lutheran will enjoy fellowship time with Pastor Uthe after worship service.  Christ the Servant will be having a potluck with Pastor Uthe after their worship service.

SPECIAL CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING will be held following worship on OCTOBER 30 in the Library at 10 am.

FLC WORSHIP AND MUSIC COMMITTEE will meet on Tuesday, November 1 at 10 am.
