CTS WORSHIP & MUSIC COMMITTEE will meet on Monday, September 11 at 11 am. LAPLANDERS QUILT GUILD AT CTS will meet on Monday, September 11 beginning at 2 pm.   BREAKFAST GALS will meet at 8 am on Tuesday, September 12 at Hardees.   “SHARING THE WEIGHT” BLANKET MAKING will take place on Tuesday, September 12 from 9 am-3 pm at CTS.    “THE STORY” DISCUSSION GROUP will be meeting on Wednesdays, starting on September 13  at 10 am. THE WOMEN OF THE ELCA will gather on Thursday, September 14, at 1:00 pm at First Lutheran.    LUTHERAN ADULT FELLOWSHIP will meet on Sunday, September 17,  at 5 pm.  Roger & Kary Blunk will be hosts.  Please bring an item to share. GOD’S WORK, OUR HANDS DAY is on Sunday, September 10. We will be filling school bags at FLC on that day. Everyone is welcome to help that morning after the worship service. If anyone wants to contribute there is a list of items needed in the Narthex. There will be a box in the Narthex to leave your items.  If you wish to contribute money for shipping, make your checks out to First Lutheran or bring money to the church office.  If you have questions, contact Jean Heston or LuAnn Mosbach. “THE STORY” DISCUSSION GROUP will be meeting on Wednesdays, starting on September 13  at 10 am. Everyone is welcome to attend!  The discussion will align with the previous Sunday’s sermon. “NOISY OFFERINGS” WILL CONTINUE to be taken on Sundays.  Please consider bringing your loose change to church and “noisily” depositing it in the pot!! SEPTEMBER IS JUICE MONTH at the Ministries Center.  Examples would be fruit juices, vegetable juices (tomato & V8), and juice boxes.  Thank you! The following items are also needed:  large bottles of shampoo & conditioner, soap, razors, shaving cream, mouthwash, toothpaste, and other personal care items.  Donations can be dropped off on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30-11:15 at 410 S. 7th Street .  You can also drop off at Lucas County Public Health or Methodist Church.     THANK YOU!! FLC WORSHIP & MUSIC COMMITTEE will meet on Tuesday, September 5 at 10 am.   PRAYER SHAWL/BABY AFGHAN GROUP will gather in the FLC Library, beginning at 1:30 pm, on Wednesday, September 6.   GOD’S WORK, OUR HANDS DAY is on Sunday, September 10. SCHOOL BEGAN IN CHARITON ON AUGUST 23 AND WILL BEGIN IN CORYDON ON AUGUST 28.
