“SHARING THE WEIGHT” BLANKET MAKING will take place on Tuesday, April 14 from 9 am-3 pm at CTS.

CINNAMON ROLL SUNDAY will be on Sunday, April 19 after worship.

CTS TASK FORCE will meet on Sunday, April 19 at noon.

BIBLE STUDY/CONFIRMATION CLASSES
There will be NO Bible Study or Confirmation classes in April or May. Classes will resume in the fall.

NOISY OFFERINGS!!
Please consider bringing your loose change to church on Sundays and “noisily” depositing it in the pot! Offerings April through July at First Lutheran will go to the Counting Sheep project. Offerings at Christ the Servant will go to school lunches.
LUTHERAN ADULT FELLOWSHIP will be held on April 12 hosted by Roger and Kari Blunk. There will be Easter games, cards, and lots of visiting. Please bring a food item to share.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL will be held at First Lutheran June 15-18, 2026. VBS is for students in K-5 during the 2025-26 school year. All are welcome–bring a friend!! You can sign up online at bit.ly/3GptHIz, calling the church office, or scanning the QR Code.

WOMEN OF THE ELCA Cluster 9 Spring Fling will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Knoxville on Saturday, April 18. Registration begins at 8:30 am with the program at 9 am. Love gifts will be for the United Way. For more information about the event and love gift items, see the flyer on the bulletin board in the Fireside Room.

APRIL IS SNACK MONTH for the Ministry Center. Examples would be cake mixes, frostings, fruit snacks, Jell-O, popcorn, pudding, cookies, etc.

HOLY WEEK WORSHIP SCHEDULE

Maundy Thursday service on April 2 will be a joint worship service at First Lutheran with a Seder meal in the Fireside Room at 7 p.m. There is a signup sheet in the Narthex to indicate attendance numbers. Please sign up by March 22.

Good Friday service on April 3 will be from 12-1:30 p.m. at Christ the Servant in Corydon. You are welcome to come at 15 minute intervals and stay for as long as you want.

Easter Sunday, April 5, will begin with breakfast at First Lutheran at 7:30-8:45 a.m. with worship at 9 a.m. For Christ the Servant, breakfast will begin at 9:30 a.m. with worship at 11 a.m.

HOLY WEEK WORSHIP SCHEDULE

Holy Week will begin with Palm Sunday on March 29. At First Lutheran, the youth will gather in the Fireside room prior to the service and process into the sanctuary.

CHARITON EASTER BREAKFAST SIGN UP on the table in the Narthex. There are TWO sign-up sheets—one for those willing to help with breakfast and another for those planning on attending. Please sign up so enough food is prepared!

Easter lily at First Lutheran—If you plan to donate a lily for Easter Sunday at First Lutheran, the sign-up sheet is on the table in the Narthex. You may designate it as a memorial or in honor of someone. The list of names will be printed in the Easter bulletin.
