BLESSING OF 4-H & FFA PROJECTS AND EXHIBITORS
On Sunday, July 13, there will be a blessing of 4H and FFA projects and exhibitors during worship service at both First Lutheran and Christ the Servant. Exhibitors can choose to bring a project, wear a 4-H or FFA shirt, or just come for the blessing! Lucas County Fair is July 17-22 and Wayne County is July 21-28.
OUTDOOR WORSHIP SERVICE
First Lutheran will be having outdoor worship service on Sunday, July 20 on the west side of the church at 9 am. Please bring your lawn chair and stay for the fellowship. Denny & Patti Bisgard will be providing refreshments in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary.
QUILTS FOR THE ALTAR
If you are interested in providing a quilt for the altar for two weeks from September 7 through November 9, sign up on the sheet available at the church.
NOISY OFFERINGS!!
Please consider bringing your loose change to church on Sundays and “noisily” depositing it in the pot! Offerings July through November at First Lutheran will go to needy families. Offerings December through August at Christ the Servant will go to Wayne School needs.
JULY IS CONDIMENTS & BAKING MONTH at the Ministries Center. Examples would be ketchup, mustard, oil, mayo, salad dressing, pickles, sugar, flour, baking soda, baking powder, cornstarch, and cocoa. Thank you! Please consider helping with this ministry!
